I am an artist with cerebral palsy and rely on a power wheelchair for mobility. However, I have not let it stop me from creating beautiful art. When I was in elementary and high-school, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to university to study art. I have continued to follow my heart and create on a continuous basis.
I use many different mediums, such as crayon, acrylics, and pastels. I believe that working in a variety of mediums adds diversity to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
I enjoy spending time in nature. This is where I get a lot of my ideas. I love to do abstracts which I believe has come from my idea that there are no mistakes in art. My physical disability has taught me that art is not meant to be perfect but a process that is to be enjoyed.
